Unix.

After my whippets became to old to join me on my easy training runs, I was missing a dog where I could run/jog with being killed (for yukon life is a race).

I started to look within my facebook friends and stranded in Austria with Tamara Mulehner,.... I fell in love with this alaskan husky female called Unix.

she was already 7 months old and was looking for a good home. The only catch was,.... she didn't like people,... Many people came to have look to adopt her but nobody got to take her home. Her brother on the other hand was also for sale and was a people lover. Not knowing if I could take unix with me home or if I would buy her brother we left for Austria.

Once we arrived and the gate opened we were welcomed by a bunch of puppies and weardly Unix came and say hi,... FIRST!

I could call her, pet her, play with her, leaving her breeder with her mouth wide open,.... She had choosen me she said.

I felt it was an honour, from then on I knew she would be special,.... and special she is ;) in every single way.

She is one weard dog who I love with my whole heart. She's that type of dog you can talk to without using a single word.

Unix is a alaskan husky mix and specially breed for long distance mushing, her father ran the femundlopet a 100 km race.

She has much more endurance but less power then the ESD and she can keep up a lower speed for a very long time.

I mostly take her on my personal training runs, but she turned out so good, we also started to race and make the podiums unsafe.
